Up and Down in the raft
Flying above the water
paddling in the air
with all the strength.
As Enthusiasm and energy
were swept away and
Rejuvenated again and again
By a splash
Splash of water, splash of life, peace and tranquility
with the openness and
Desire to struggle in rapids of mysteries
They were,
“Upstream, surprise
Twin Rock and Ladies delight”
No longer were Rapids as stranger..
Satisfied and tired, I was breathing and happy
Certainly,
I lived few hours in my life
The way I wanted.
Poem & Report Written By: Deepti [ Special thanks to DeepTea :) ]
That was indeed a rocking time!!! A Rafting Program was organized at Trishuli River on 2nd June 2007, by YATRA to commemorate World Environment Day 2007 (June 5). This year the theme of the Environment Day was “Is Melting Ice: A hot Topic?” It took us around 3-4 hours a long and awaited journey in bus to feel the excitement.
There were 61 youth who rafted tirelessly to 20-25 km through the river. The river is 141 km long and is popular for the rafting experiences with interesting rapids. The river has been graded +3 on international ratings, whereas 1 being the swimming pool. This grading of Trishuli denotes that for trained guide- technical persons are needed and the river is full of excitements and interesting rapids.
The rafting followed by the instruction given by the Guides, who patiently instructed the paddling mechanism as such; Forward, Backward, All Back and Finally Sssssssstopppp…The last instruction was the most fabulous one for all the rafters.
When the raft comes through the rapids it was the most exciting and thrilling moments we ever had. We came across many rapids, mild to violent one; some of them were Ladies Delight, Upset I & II, Surprise, Electricity, Twin Rock and many more.
We swam and floated at the safer place and were hilarious picked up inside the raft again by the instructor or even our friends by pulling our life jacket, as if we were a sack of grain. After 3 and more hours of stimulation inside water, we were exhausted and tired but yet not satisfied. We had lunch with no complains (tired to complain) and relaxed in the sun for sometime.
We had group photos and we realized to be responsible to keep our surrounding and environment clean and conserved. We committed to care about our environment by sustainable consumption.
Then we were again back to bus with tired bones and a heart full of blood of excitements. It did not take a single second to make me realize that ‘Nepal: a country of Nature and Adventures ’.

XRumer is a Windows program that posts forum spam with the aim of boosting search engine rankings. It has been claimed that the program is able to bypass techniques commonly used by many websites to deter automated spam, such as account registration, CAPTCHAs, and e-mail activation before posting. The program makes heavy use of a database of known open proxies in an attempt to make it more difficult for administrators to block posts.
In addition, the software can xrumer avoid the suspicions of forum administrators by first registering to make a post in the form of a question which mentions the spam product (”Where can I get…?”), before registering another account to post a spam link which mentions the product. Akismet for WordPress is showing the first post as SPAM. The side effect of these innocent-looking posts is that helpful forum visitors may search on a search engine (e.g. Google) for the product and themselves post a link to help out, thus bolstering the product’s Google stats without falling afoul of forum posting policies.
According to The Register, the latest version of XRumer can defeat CAPTCHAs of Hotmail and GMail. This enables the software to create accounts with these free email services, which are used to register in forums that it posts to.] ]
Most spam attacks on forums generally occur in waves, and the software will not spam at full speed initially. Thus, a good strategy for limiting the damage of such attacks is to target new members who have random series’ of alphanumeric characters for their usernames. The multiple instances of a spam bot will have obvious similarities in their email addresses (and will usually be random themselves), allowing members that match the profile of other spam bots to be banned before they even post. As mentioned - proxies are used, making IP bans ineffective, however it is possible to block the posting of threads containing certain text, or links to a certain site. Once a product or site has been spammed, it can be blocked, preventing the software from successfully uploading its payload.
